						So, here's the scoop on the hippos that I promised last time.
						 
				We had seen hippos the day before, but that mostly means ears and eyes sticking out of the water.  |

						This day we came upon a place with hippos where two rivers came together and ran through an interesting rock maze.

					 I knew we were in the right place, because there was a map of Africa carved right in the stone in front of us. The map was a little primitive, but that seemed appropriate.

						And sure enough, there were those eyes and ears and noses sticking up just like before.

						But, today, things quickly proved to be a lot more exciting.

						Then, almost as suddenly as it started, the big guys slipped back into the water to become eyes, ears and noses again.
